Introduction:
By participating in the competition run by Swissential SA, you are agreeing to these competition terms and conditions.
Participation in the competition
The competition is open to entrants over 18 years of age. Swissential SA employees and associates are excluded from the draw. For valid participation in the competition, the participant must fill in his name, email address, and contact number, confirm the terms & conditions and provide the correct contact details for their referral for one entry into the competition. No duplicates, unsolicited contacts or false information will be considered in the competition. There is an unlimited number of entries a person can submit. One referral is equal to one entry. The competition starts on September 11, 2023, and ends on November 30, 2023, at 23:59. Participation in the competition is free of charge and independent of any purchase or use of paid services.
By entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and can receive any prizes that may be awarded.
Swissential SA has the right not to disclose entries due to privacy and consumer protection policies. Entries received after the closing time will not be considered, regardless of the reason for the delay. The electronically recorded time of entry is decisive.
The Prize:
The winning prize will be a Swiss-based Michelin-star restaurant voucher valued at 1,000 CHF for first place, 750 CHF for second place, and 500 CHF for third place.
The use of specific brands as prizes by Swissential SA does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement of such brands.
The prize is non-transferable and non-exchangeable, and no cash alternatives will be provided.
We reserve the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond our control require doing so.
By participating in the competition, the participant declares his or her agreement with the rules of the competition.
Winner Announcement:
The winners will be chosen at random, and notified via their email address provided on 1 December 2023.
SwissentialSA will make two attempts to contact the winner via email. Entitlement to the prize will be forfeited without compensation if the winner does not respond to the prize notification within 12 hours of notification, and Swissential SA reserves the right to select and notify a new winner.
Delivery of the Prize:
The winner will allow 14 days for the prize to be arranged. The winner can request a voucher valued at the same amount as said prize at their preferred restaurant if they are unable to attend the restaurant option provided by Swissential SA. This option will need to be requested within the 12-hour response period provided to the winner, otherwise, the restaurant option provided by Swissential SA will be selected by default and can’t be refunded, or substituted.
Data Protection and Publicity:
Swissential SA points out that the participant’s personal data (in particular e-mail addresses and names) will only be used within the framework of the competition and on the basis of the applicable data protection regulations and will not be passed on to third parties by Swissential SA, but will be treated confidentially unless the participant consents to receive partner information.
Consent may be revoked at any time by sending an e-mail to enquiries@swissential.com. An exception to this is the case of winning, for which the participant gives Swissential SA express permission to publish his/her name and place of residence on Swissential’s website and social media channels. By participating, the participant hereby agrees that his/her personal data may be stored and used for the purposes of the competition. Swissential SA reserves the right to check the accuracy of the data provided by participants. Limitation of Liability:
Swissential SA accepts no liability for any damage, loss, injury, or disappointment suffered by any entrants as a result of participating in the competition or being selected for a prize. Swissential is not liable for late entries and, in particular, cannot be held responsible for technical faults in transmission, especially network, electronic or computer failures. All possible costs incurred by the participants as a result of their participation, which is outside the sphere of influence of Swissential (such as the participant’s online access), shall be borne exclusively by the participant.
General:
Swissential SA reserves the right, at any time and without prior notice, to cancel the competition or amend these terms and conditions.
