FINMA

FINMA is the Swiss government body responsible for financial regulation. This includes the supervision of banks, insurance companies, stock exchanges and securities dealers, as well as other financial intermediaries in Switzerland.

Swissential SA is registered as an Insurance Intermediary with the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA 32900) regarding its conduct of Swiss Insurance and pensions business.

Our regulatory standards mean that Swissential SA is obliged to follow very stringent regulatory obligations. As an extra layer of protection for our clients and in the highly unlikely event that a mistake should be made in the advice provided, Swissential SA holds a CHF3’000’000 professional indemnity insurance (above the 2m required by Law).

ARIF

ARIF is a self-regulating body approved by the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA) for the supervision of the financial intermediaries referred to in article 2 para. 3 of the Swiss Federal Law on combating money laundering and terrorism financing in the financial sector (AMLA). ARIF is also recognized by FINMA as a professional organization for laying down rules of conduct relating to the practice of the profession of independent asset manager within the meaning of the Swiss Federal Act on collective investment schemes.

Swissential SA is a Member of and regulated by ARIF, the Association Romande des Intermediaires Financiers regarding its conduct of Independent Asset Manager.

INFORMATION ON THE FINANCIAL SERVICES ACT

The Financial Services Act (FinSA) came into force on 1 January 2020. Its purpose is to strengthen investor protection and establish
comparable standards for financial services providers. FinSA requires compliance with certain rules of conduct, including the duty
to inform. In this respect, in accordance with the obligations introduced under Articles 8 and following of FinSA, Swissential SA
